About Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Liverpool John Lennon Airport is about 12 km south-east of the city centre, on the banks of the Mersey at Speke. It is a mostly short-haul airport serving Merseyside, the Wirral, Cheshire, West Lancashire and North Wales.

Without a station at the terminal, most passengers leave by road. A private car takes you straight to the waterfront hotels, the universities, the suburbs, Chester or the Lancashire coast, with the luggage loaded for you.

Liverpool John Lennon has a single terminal in Speke, south-east of the city. There is no railway station at the terminal; the nearest is Liverpool South Parkway, a short bus ride away. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign; the first 60 minutes after landing are free and parking is included.
