Private Day Trips and City Journeys from London with a Driver
Some of England’s best-known places are within a few hours of London. With a private driver, you travel door to door at your own pace, without train changes or coach-tour schedules.
Popular trips
- Windsor: the castle and the town by the Thames – close to Heathrow, from about £46 from the airport.
- Oxford: colleges, libraries and museums – from about £120 one way from central London.
- Cambridge: colleges and punting on the Cam – from about £125 one way.

- Bath: Roman baths and Georgian streets – from about £217 one way.
Prices are for an Economy Sedan for up to 4 passengers; vans for 6 and minibuses for 16 are also available.
How it works
We book journeys, not hours. Book the outward journey on the booking form and choose “Return” with the time you want to be collected – both legs are paid together, with a discount on the return. For trips with several stops, contact us through the contact page.
Combining trips with an airport transfer
Arriving at Heathrow? Windsor is only about 25 minutes away – a good first stop. Leaving from Heathrow? A morning in Windsor or Oxford can fit before an evening flight if you book the journeys accordingly.
Tickets and opening times
We provide the transport. Book entry tickets for castles, colleges and attractions directly, and check opening times – some close on certain days or for events.
Groups
For families or groups, a Standard Van (6 passengers) or minibus (16) costs less per person than several cars.
Children
Child seats are free on request.
See Oxford and Heathrow and Windsor and Gatwick.
Seasonal tips
Summer weekends are busy at Windsor, Oxford and Bath; early starts beat the crowds. Stonehenge has timed entry tickets – book your slot first, then the transfer.
Paying
You pay online by card when you book; the confirmation email is your receipt and there is nothing to pay the driver.
