Pickup from your door
From Cambridge the drive of about 1 h 40 min means a pickup around 4 hours before a short-haul flight is a safe choice: about 2 hours 15 minutes is left at the airport once you arrive. For long-haul, add another hour. You are collected from your home, hotel or office, help with bags is included, and child seats cost nothing extra. Gatwick has two terminals, North and South, linked by a free shuttle train that takes about two minutes. Check which one your airline uses when you book, so you are dropped at the right door.
Arriving back
For the return to Cambridge, the pickup is timed to your actual landing at Gatwick, not the schedule. Your driver waits at the arrivals meeting point of the North or South Terminal holding a name sign, with 60 minutes free after touchdown and parking included in the fare. Choose "Return" on the booking form to book both trips together and save on the second one.
