Water Parks Around Antalya: Getting There with Kids by Private Car
For families, a water park day is often the highlight of an Antalya holiday. The two big options are on opposite sides of the city: Aqualand at the west end of Konyaaltı beach, and the water park at the Land of Legends in Belek. Many resorts also have their own slides.
Aqualand (Konyaaltı)
About 7 km from Kaleiçi, around 15–20 minutes, and 20 km from the airport. Slides, wave pools and a lazy river; Dolphinland is next door. Short trips within Antalya start from the €35 minimum fare per vehicle.
The Land of Legends (Belek)
About 35 km from Kaleiçi and 25 km from the airport. A water park within a large theme park, with evening shows. See the Land of Legends.
From the resorts
- From Kemer: about 1 hour to Aqualand.
- From Lara: about 30 minutes to Aqualand, 25 minutes to the Land of Legends.
- From Side: about 45 minutes to the Land of Legends.
Booking
Book the outward journey on the booking form and choose “Return” with the time you want to be collected; both legs are paid together, with a discount on the return. The fare is per vehicle for up to 6 passengers. Child seats are free on request – add the children’s ages.
Why not a taxi?
A taxi works for the trip out, but at closing time queues can be long and drivers may be reluctant to take wet children and inflatables. A pre-booked pickup means your car is there when you come out.
Hotel aquaparks
Many all-inclusive resorts in Lara, Belek, Side and Kemer have their own slides, which may be enough for younger children. Older children who want the bigger rides usually enjoy a day at one of the larger parks.
Tips for the day
Arrive at opening time for the shortest queues, bring sun cream and water shoes, and check height limits for the slides on the park’s website. Pack a bag of dry clothes for the drive back.
