Antalya Airport Transfers to Kaputaş Beach and Kaş
Kaputaş Beach is one of the most photographed beaches in Türkiye: a small cove of white pebbles and impossibly turquoise water at the foot of a gorge, between Kaş and Kalkan. It is not a place to stay, but a place to visit – most people base themselves in Kaş or Kalkan.
How far is it?
Kaputaş is about 218 km from Antalya Airport – over three hours by road along the coast. It is much closer to Kaş and Kalkan, which is why we recommend staying in one of those towns and visiting the beach from there.
Getting to Kaş or Kalkan
From Antalya Airport, the fixed fare to Kaş and Kalkan is €120 per vehicle for up to 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases. Dalaman Airport is an alternative, about 149 km from Kaş; the price from there is shown in the booking form. See Kaş airport transfer.
Visiting the beach
- The beach is reached by a long staircase down from the coast road.
- Parking at the road is very limited in summer; being dropped off and collected avoids that problem.
- There is little shade – bring sun protection and water.
- Morning and late afternoon are the quietest times.
A day out with a driver
From Kaş or Kalkan, book a short transfer to Kaputaş and a return for the time you want to leave. You can combine it with the ruins and the long beach at Patara, west of Kalkan. Each leg is priced by distance and shown before you pay.
Other beaches nearby
Kaputaş is not the only beautiful beach in the area. Patara, west of Kalkan, is a long sandy beach next to an ancient city; Kaş itself has swimming platforms and small coves on the Çukurbağ peninsula; and boat trips from Kaş visit bays that can only be reached by sea.
Is a day trip from Antalya possible?
Technically yes, but with more than six hours of driving in one day we do not recommend it. Staying at least one night in Kaş or Kalkan is far more enjoyable.
