Antalya Transfers for Archaeological Tours
The Antalya region has one of the richest concentrations of ancient sites in the Mediterranean: Greek and Roman cities, Lycian rock tombs, theatres and harbours. With a private car, you can visit them at your own pace, early in the morning before the heat and the tour coaches.
East of Antalya
- Perge – a vast Roman city, just a few minutes from the airport.
- Aspendos – the famous theatre and aqueduct, about 10 km from Belek.
- Side – the Temple of Apollo and theatre on a peninsula, about an hour from the airport.
West of Antalya
- Phaselis – a harbour city in pine woods south of Kemer.
- Olympos – ruins along a stream in a wooded valley.
- Myra (Demre) – Lycian rock tombs and the church of St Nicholas.
In the mountains
Termessos is a mountain city in a national park north-west of Antalya, reached by a steep road and a climb on foot. Allow half a day and wear good shoes.
Planning a route
Each journey is booked as a fixed-price leg. A typical eastern day combines Perge and Aspendos; a western day, Phaselis and Olympos; a long day or an overnight trip, Myra and Kaş. Enter each leg on the booking form to see the price, and choose “Return” for the way back.
Tips
- Check opening times and ticket prices directly with each site.
- Start early in summer; most sites have little shade.
- Bring water, a hat and sturdy shoes.

- Day 1: Perge and Aspendos, with lunch in Belek.
- Day 2: Side’s theatre and museum, sunset at the Temple of Apollo.
- Day 3: Phaselis and Olympos on the western coast.
