Antalya Chauffeur Tours of the Mediterranean Coast Road
The D400 west of Antalya is one of the great coastal drives of the Mediterranean: tunnels and pine forests to Kemer, mountains plunging into the sea beyond Tekirova, and a cliff road to Kaş with views of the Greek islands. With a chauffeur, you can enjoy the views instead of the hairpin bends.
The route, section by section
- Antalya to Kemer – about 45 km from the city, through Konyaaltı and tunnels along the mountains.
- Kemer to Tekirova and Phaselis – pine woods, ancient harbours and the Tahtalı cable car.
- Over the mountains to Kumluca – the road climbs inland before descending to greenhouses and the coast.
- Finike to Demre – citrus groves, then the Lycian tombs of Myra and the church of St Nicholas.
- Demre to Kaş – the most spectacular stretch, along cliffs above the sea.
How long it takes
From Antalya to Kaş is about three hours without stops. With visits to Phaselis, Olympos or Myra, it becomes a full day – most travellers stay overnight in Kaş and return the next day or continue to Fethiye.

Seasons on the coast road
In spring, the mountains above the coast are still green and the air is clear; in autumn, the sea is at its warmest and the roads quieter than in summer. July and August bring the most traffic, particularly around Kemer at weekends – start early.
The car
A private Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers with room for luggage – useful if you are moving to a new hotel along the way.
