Antalya Airport Transfers for Blue Cruise Tours
A blue cruise – several days on a traditional wooden gulet, swimming in bays only reachable by sea – is one of the classic ways to see the Turkish coast. Cruises start from harbours along the coast, and getting to the right one from the airport is the first step.
Where blue cruises start
- Kemer – about an hour from Antalya Airport. €50 per vehicle.
- Kaş – about three hours from Antalya. €120 per vehicle.
- Fethiye and Göcek – about three hours from Antalya (€160), or under an hour from Dalaman Airport.
Transfers from Dalaman are priced by distance and shown on the booking form.
Choosing your airport
For cruises starting in Fethiye or Göcek, Dalaman Airport is much closer. For Kemer, Antalya is the obvious choice. For Kaş, compare the two: Antalya is about 200 km away, Dalaman about 149 km.
Embarkation day
Gulets usually embark in the afternoon. Check the time with your cruise operator and book the transfer accordingly. Give us the harbour, the gulet’s name and, if known, the berth.
A typical blue cruise
Blue cruises usually last from three to seven nights, with the gulet anchoring in a different bay each night. Routes from Kemer often head west towards Phaselis and Olympos; from Kaş towards Kekova; from Fethiye and Göcek around the Twelve Islands and the bays of the Gulf of Fethiye.
Luggage on a gulet
Cabins are compact; soft bags are easier to stow than hard suitcases. Our Vito takes 6 large items, so a group of six travels with all its luggage in one car.
Groups
Whole-boat charters often have ten to sixteen guests. Two Vitos or a minibus can bring the group together; ask for a quote.
Disembarkation
Book a pickup at the harbour for your disembarkation time. From Kemer, leave about three hours before an international flight from Antalya; from Fethiye, about two and a half hours before a flight from Dalaman.
