Antalya Taxi Service: Airport Taxis Compared with Fixed-Price Transfers
Every day, thousands of passengers walk out of Antalya Airport and look for a taxi. For some trips that is the right choice; for others, a pre-booked transfer is cheaper, roomier and less stressful. This guide compares the two honestly, route by route.
How Antalya airport taxis work
Licensed taxis wait outside the terminal buildings and run on the meter. The fare depends on distance, traffic and the time of day, and is paid at the end, in cash or by card. Most are saloon cars for up to four passengers. When several flights land at once – common on summer evenings – there can be a queue.
How a pre-booked transfer works
You book online and the price is fixed per vehicle before you travel. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name; we track your flight and the first 60 minutes after landing are free. The car is a Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases.
Route by route
- City, Lara, Kaleiçi, Konyaaltı (€35 transfer): short trips where a taxi can cost about the same for one or two people. For families, one Vito is easier.
- Belek (€45) and Kemer (€50): 35–60 minutes; the fixed price removes traffic risk.
- Side and Manavgat (€65), Alanya (€75): one to two hours; a metered taxi usually costs considerably more.
- Kaş (€120) and Fethiye (€160): three-hour journeys where a fixed price is by far the better deal.
Other things to weigh up
- Group size: six people fit in one Vito; in taxis they need two.
- Children: transfers include free child seats on request.
- Night arrivals: a named driver waiting inside is easier than a queue outside.
- Cash: transfers are paid by card online, so no lira is needed on arrival.
Getting around after you arrive
Inside Antalya, taxis and the tram are convenient for short trips. Pre-booked cars are best for the airport and longer outings. For a detailed comparison, see airport taxi vs private chauffeur.

How we make sure your driver is there
Reliability is the single most important thing about an airport transfer. A cheap transfer that does not turn up is worth nothing. Here is exactly what we do, for every pickup at Antalya Airport, to make sure your driver is there.
1. Confirmation the moment you pay
Your booking is confirmed when the payment goes through. The email shows your booking reference, the route, the pickup time and the fixed price – for example €35 to Antalya city or Lara, €50 to Kemer, €65 to Side. There is no waiting list and no second approval.
2. Your flight is tracked
The flight number you enter lets us check the real arrival time. Early landings, delays and diversions are taken into account without you having to call.
3. A named meeting point inside the terminal
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a sign showing your name. Antalya Airport has two international terminals and a domestic one; the flight number tells the driver which.
4. Waiting time included
The first 60 minutes after landing are free – enough for passport control and baggage reclaim on most days, even in peak season.
5. The right vehicle
All transfers in the Antalya region use a Mercedes Vito with 6 seats and room for 6 large suitcases. The booking form checks your group size against the vehicle, so the car always fits.
6. Drivers who know the region
Our Türkiye transfers are run from offices in Antalya and Kemer. Drivers know the D400 coast road, the city boulevards and the resort entrances. See Antalya professional drivers.
7. A direct route
Private means private: no other passengers and no other hotels on the way.
8. Help when plans change
The Antalya office is reachable around the clock for transfers on +90 242 212 04 30 and at [email protected]. If we ever have to cancel a confirmed transfer – for example because of severe weather – you can choose a full refund or a new time at no extra cost.
