Most visitors fly into Dalaman Airport, less than an hour away; others land at Antalya and make the longer drive along the coast. We drive from both.
Dalaman or Antalya?
- Dalaman Airport (DLM) – about 46 km from Fethiye town, around 50 minutes. Göcek is about 20 km from the airport, Ölüdeniz about 58 km.
- Antalya Airport (AYT) – about 206 km from Fethiye, around three hours via the coast road through Kemer, Kumluca and Kaş, or inland routes. More flights, especially outside summer.
If you can fly into Dalaman, your transfer will be much shorter.

The Fethiye area is villa country. Thousands of holiday homes are scattered across Hisarönü, Ovacık, Kayaköy and the hills above Göcek, many on small roads that are hard to find at night. A door-to-door transfer takes you from the arrivals hall to the villa gate.

Finding villas at night
Many villas have names but no house numbers, and village roads are poorly lit. In the booking notes, please give:
- the villa name and the village,
- the villa manager’s or owner’s phone number,
- a map pin or landmark – a restaurant, a mosque, a shop,
- gate codes and where the keys are.
Villa companies usually send these details with your booking confirmation; just copy them across.
The journey
Your driver meets you in arrivals with your name, loads the luggage and drives to the villa – about 50 minutes to an hour from Dalaman, about three hours from Antalya. At the villa, the bags are unloaded at the gate or door.
Villa changeover day
Villa rentals in the Fethiye area usually change over on a fixed weekday, with check-in in the afternoon. If your flight lands in the morning, the villa may not be ready yet. Ask your villa company about early access, or plan a stop – lunch in Fethiye or a swim at Çalış – before the driver takes you to the villa.
Shopping on the way
Arriving at a self-catering villa late at night with nothing in the fridge is a common problem. If you would like a short stop at a supermarket, ask the driver at the start of the journey.

Villa or hotel?
Fethiye has more holiday villas than almost anywhere on the coast, especially in Hisarönü, Ovacık and Kayaköy. If you are staying in a villa, the transfer matters more: shared shuttles and buses do not go to villa gates. Give us the villa name, village and key holder’s phone, and the driver will bring you to the door.
5. Departure day
From Fethiye, leave about two and a half hours before an international flight from Dalaman, and about five hours before one from Antalya. Your driver collects you from your villa or hotel.

Arriving at the resort
Your driver stops at the main reception and unloads your luggage. If your room is not ready, the hotel will usually store your bags. In Ölüdeniz, some hotels are on the pedestrian beach promenade; the driver stops as close as vehicle access allows.

Check-out is generally around midday. For departures from Dalaman, a pickup about two and a half hours before an international flight is usually enough from Fethiye, a little more from Ölüdeniz. For Antalya, leave about five hours before departure.
Exploring from your resort
