Konyaaltı Group Transfer: Planning Transfers for Events and Groups
Konyaaltı hosts weddings in beach venues, sports teams training in the mild winter, academic and cultural events near the museum, and families gathering from abroad. This page helps organisers plan airport transfers for groups.
Start with the arrivals list
Send names, flight numbers, landing times, passengers per flight and destination addresses. We plan vehicles per flight:
- up to 6 passengers: one Mercedes Vito, €35 to Konyaaltı;
- 7–12 passengers: two Vitos (€70) or a minibus;
- larger groups: minibuses, quoted individually.
City traffic
Konyaaltı is on the far side of Antalya from the airport. For groups arriving in the late afternoon, we allow extra time for city traffic, so the event schedule should too. Morning and late-evening arrivals are quickest.
Signs and meeting
Drivers wait in arrivals with the event, team or guest name on the sign. Each flight is tracked, with 60 minutes of free waiting.
During the event
Group programmes can include dinners in Kaleiçi (about 10 km), boat trips from the old harbour, or excursions to Kemer and Olympos. Vehicles can be planned for each part of the programme.
Winter training camps
Antalya’s mild winters attract football teams, cyclists, athletes and swimmers for training camps. Konyaaltı’s hotels and nearby sports facilities are popular bases. Teams usually travel with a lot of kit; tell us the number of bags and any bulky equipment, and we will plan enough luggage space as well as seats.
Departures
For departures, we plan pickups by flight time. From Konyaaltı, leave about two and a half hours before an international flight.
Booking and payment
Small groups can book each vehicle on the booking form. For larger programmes, ask for one quote: [email protected] or +90 242 212 04 30.
See Konyaaltı minibus hire for vehicle choice and the rates page for all fares.
Group sizes and vehicles
Groups heading to Konyaaltı – families gathering for an event, friends sharing a holiday flat, sports teams, students – need to get across Antalya from the airport together. The right vehicle mix depends on group size and luggage.
Which vehicles?
- Up to 6 people: one Mercedes Vito, €35 from Antalya Airport to Konyaaltı.
- 7–12 people: two Vitos (€70), or a minibus on request.
- Larger groups or lots of equipment: minibuses, quoted individually.
Two Vitos are often the simplest choice for up to 12 people, and each can be timed for a different flight.
Minibus quotes
Choose a minibus in the booking results and press “Get a Custom Quote”, or email [email protected] with the number of passengers, suitcases and bulky items, the flight details and the destination address.
Meeting the group
Drivers wait in arrivals with a sign showing the group or lead passenger’s name. Each flight is tracked, with 60 minutes of free waiting after landing.
Why not two taxis?
A group of ten could take three taxis from the rank. On a cross-city route, each one runs its own meter through the same traffic, and the group arrives split up. Two pre-booked Vitos travel together, at a known total of €70, with all the luggage on board.
Sports and training groups
Antalya hosts many sports teams and training groups, particularly outside the summer peak. For teams with kit and equipment, tell us the amount of luggage so we can plan both seats and space.
Group outings from Konyaaltı
From Konyaaltı, Kaleiçi is about 10 km away, Kemer about 37 km and Olympos about 87 km. The Tünektepe cable car at the western end of the beach offers views over the whole bay. Trips can be added to your quote; see transfers from Konyaaltı.
Families of up to six can read Konyaaltı private minivan; organisers should see Konyaaltı group transfers. All fares are on the rates page.
Travelling with children
Konyaaltı is a favourite with families: a long beach with a promenade, a beach park, the aquarium and plenty of family-run restaurants. Getting there from the airport means crossing the city, and a private minivan makes that easy with children and luggage.
Room for the family
The Mercedes Vito has six individual seats and space for 6 large suitcases, with room for hand luggage and usually a folded buggy. Sliding doors make it easy to get children in and out.
Free child seats
Child seats and booster seats are free. Note the number and ages in the booking; for babies, give the exact age. You may also bring your own seat.
One price
The fare to Konyaaltı is €35 for the vehicle, whether you are two or six.
The journey
About 22 km across the city, typically 25–35 minutes, with no stops for other passengers. If you arrive during the late-afternoon rush, the drive may take a little longer – the price stays the same.
At the airport
We follow your flight. The driver waits in arrivals with your name and helps with the trolley. The first 60 minutes after landing are free.
With children in Konyaaltı
Family favourites include the beach park with its playgrounds, the aquarium near the beach, and the Tünektepe cable car for a view over the bay. Further afield, the Düden waterfalls and Kemer’s beaches are easy day trips; see transfers from Konyaaltı.
Staying in a family flat
Many families in Konyaaltı rent apartments rather than hotel rooms – more space, a kitchen and often a pool on the site. If that is your plan, add the site name, block and flat number and your host’s phone number to the booking, so the driver can bring you to the right building entrance.
Book both ways
Choose “Return” on the booking form and enter your departure pickup; both journeys are paid together, with a discount on the return. More than six of you? See Konyaaltı minibus hire.
