The coast road west
Beyond Kemer, the D400 becomes a mountain road with spectacular views over the sea, especially between Kumluca, Demre and Kaş. It is slow and winding: passengers prone to car sickness should sit in front, and a short break is normal on longer trips – agree it with the driver.
Moving on along the coast
Konyaaltı works well as the first stop of a coastal holiday: a few days in the city, then on to Kemer, Olympos or Kaş.
