They are also off the main road, which makes a private transfer the easiest way to arrive.
The route
From Antalya Airport, the drive follows the D400 west past Kemer and Tekirova, then turns off towards the coast down a winding road into the valley. The distance is about 108 km and the journey takes around 1 hour 35 minutes.

Where you are staying
Accommodation in Çıralı is mostly small pensions and bungalow hotels set back from the beach, some reached by unpaved lanes. Olympos has treehouse-style pensions along the valley road. Give the pension’s name and a phone number in the booking notes so the driver can find it.
Arriving late
Small pensions often do not have night reception. Tell your hosts your expected arrival – about an hour and a half after landing plus the time to clear the airport – and make sure the driver has their number.
What to see
- The ruins of ancient Olympos along the stream, under the trees.
- The Chimaera (Yanartaş), natural flames on the hillside above Çıralı, best visited at dusk.
- The beach, a protected nesting site for loggerhead turtles – follow local guidance about the beach at night.
Getting around Çıralı
Çıralı is a quiet place without much traffic. Most visitors walk or cycle between their pension, the beach and the Olympos ruins at the southern end. For trips further afield – Phaselis, the Tahtalı cable car near Tekirova, or Kemer – book a fixed-price transfer from your pension.
Going back
For an international flight, leave Çıralı about three and a half hours before departure. The return can be booked together with the arrival on the booking form; the return leg is discounted.
