Köprülü Canyon from Antalya: Rafting, the Roman Bridge and Selge
Köprülü Canyon National Park, inland from Side, is best known for rafting on the Köprüçay river. The canyon also has a Roman bridge still in use and, higher up, the ancient city of Selge, set among rock formations. It is a full day out from Antalya and an easy one from Side or Belek.

Rafting
Rafting companies operate along the river near Beşkonak from spring to autumn. Most trips last a few hours and suit beginners. Book the rafting directly with an operator; many offer pickups from hotels, but if yours does not cover your area, we can take you to the meeting point and collect you afterwards.
The Roman bridge and Selge
The single-arched Oluk bridge crosses the narrow gorge and is still used by traffic. From there, the road climbs to Altınkaya village, built among the ruins of Selge – its theatre faces the mountains. The road is narrow; with a driver, you can enjoy the views.
Booking
Book the outward journey on the booking form and choose “Return” with a time later the same day; both legs are paid together, with a discount on the return. The fare is per vehicle – a Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers – and shown before you pay.
When to go
Rafting is best from late spring, when the river is full but the weather is warm, to early autumn. In midsummer, the cool river and the shade of the canyon are a welcome break from the beach. Weekends are busier with local visitors.
What to bring
For rafting: swimwear, shoes that can get wet and a change of clothes. For Selge: walking shoes and water. Riverside restaurants near the bridge serve trout.
