Bristol Airport sits on high ground about 13 km south-west of the city, on the A38. It is the main airport for Bristol, Bath, Somerset, Gloucestershire and South Wales.
There is no railway station at the airport, so the choice is between the Airport Flyer bus to Temple Meads and a car. A private transfer is the easy option with luggage and for anywhere beyond the city centre: Bath, the Somerset villages, Cardiff, Cheltenham or Devon.
Bristol has a single terminal. The airport has no railway station, so most passengers leave by road. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with a name sign; the first 60 minutes after landing are free and parking is included.
