Dalaman Private Shuttle vs Shared Shuttle and Airport Bus
From Dalaman Airport, there are three main ways to reach your accommodation: a shared shuttle or package coach, the airport bus, or a private transfer. Each has its place; here is how they compare.
Shared shuttles and package coaches
Shared transfers combine passengers from several flights and stop at many hotels. To Fethiye and Ölüdeniz, or to Marmaris and İçmeler, a loop of hotels can add an hour or more to the journey.
Airport buses
Airport buses run to Fethiye and Marmaris bus stations. They are economical, but you still need a taxi or dolmuş from the bus station, and they do not go to villas or smaller resorts.
The private shuttle
A Mercedes Vito reserved for your booking: the driver meets you in arrivals with your name and takes you directly to your hotel, villa or marina. The fixed price per vehicle is shown on the booking form before you pay.
When private is worth it

A Marmaris example
Marmaris is about 96 km from Dalaman Airport. A shared transfer that serves İçmeler, Marmaris town and Armutalan can take well over two hours from landing to check-in. A private transfer leaves as soon as you have your bags and takes you straight to your hotel in about an hour and a half.
When shared is fine
A solo traveller with light luggage, staying near a bus station or on a shuttle route, can save money with the bus or a shared shuttle.
