Stansted Pickup Tips: Meeting Your Driver in the Arrivals Hall
Stansted has a single terminal building, which makes meeting your driver simple. A few tips help make the pickup even quicker, especially at busy times when several flights land together.
After landing
Passengers arrive by the transit system from the gates to the main terminal. After passport control (for international flights) and baggage reclaim, you come out into the arrivals hall, where your driver waits with a sign showing your name.
Delays and early arrivals
We track your flight using its number, so the pickup moves automatically if you land early or late. The first 60 minutes after landing are free – usually enough for passport control and luggage, even at busy times.
Long queues at passport control
Queues at border control can be long when several flights land at once. If you think you will be more than an hour, call the number in your confirmation so the office knows.
Walking to the car
Parking is included in the price. The driver helps with your luggage and walks you to the car park.
If you cannot see your driver
- Stay inside the arrivals hall.
- Check your phone for messages from the office.
- Call the number in your confirmation email.
Departures
Stansted’s security queues can be long in the early morning. The driver drops you at the terminal’s drop-off area; aim to arrive at least two hours before a European flight.
Families
Child seats are free on request. Add the children’s ages in the booking notes so the right seats are fitted before the pickup.

Arriving late at night
Many Stansted flights land late in the evening, when trains and coaches are less frequent. Your driver will be waiting whatever time you land, and the price stays the same. If your flight is diverted to another airport, call us and we will rearrange the pickup.
Booking tips
Add your flight number, the lead passenger’s mobile number and the number of suitcases when you book. If you are travelling with sports equipment or a pushchair, mention it in the notes so we send the right vehicle.
Prices from Stansted
Meet and greet is included in every fare: Stansted to Canary Wharf from about £88 and to Oxford Circus from about £97 in an Economy Sedan. See Stansted fares.
