Antalya’s Waterfalls: Düden, Kurşunlu and Manavgat by Private Car
Antalya sits on a limestone plateau full of springs and rivers, so waterfalls are never far away. Three are worth a visit – two of them within half an hour of the old town – and one, Lower Düden, falls straight into the sea.
Upper Düden
About 11 km from Kaleiçi, around 25 minutes. A park with shaded paths, cafés and a walkway behind the falling water. Allow an hour; it is cool even in summer.
Lower Düden
On the coast at Lara, the Düden river drops over the cliff into the Mediterranean. View it from the clifftop park, or from one of the boats that sail from the old harbour along the cliffs. It is about 10 km from Kaleiçi.
Kurşunlu
About 22 km from Kaleiçi and 12 km from the airport, in a nature park near Aksu. A walking trail loops through the forest past pools and small cascades to the main fall. Allow an hour and a half. Kurşunlu is a good stop on the way to or from the airport if your flight times allow.
Manavgat

A waterfall half day
Upper Düden, Kurşunlu and the clifftop at Lower Düden can all be seen in about four hours. Book the journeys on the booking form – short trips within Antalya start from the €35 minimum fare per vehicle – and choose “Return” with a time later the same day for a discount on the return leg.
Beaches nearby

Practical tips
Paths can be wet and slippery near the falls. Spring brings the most water; by late summer, flows are lower but the parks are still shady and cool.
