Alanya Airport Transfer: Antalya Airport or Gazipaşa to Alanya
Alanya has two airports within reach. Antalya Airport (AYT) is the big international hub with flights from almost everywhere, but it is about two hours away. Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport (GZP) is much closer, around 45 minutes from the town centre, but has far fewer flights. Most visitors land at Antalya, which is why a reliable private transfer matters so much on this route.
Antalya Airport to Alanya
The drive is about 125 km along the D400 coastal road, through Serik and Manavgat, past Side and along the resort coast of Okurcalar and Avsallar. Without traffic it takes around two hours; on summer weekends allow two and a half. For a journey of this length, a comfortable private car is a big step up from a coach that stops at many hotels along the way.
Price
The fixed fare from Antalya Airport to Alanya is €75 per vehicle. The same fare applies to Konaklı, Mahmutlar, Avsallar, Okurcalar, İncekum and Türkler. It includes a private Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases, airport fees and 60 minutes of free waiting after landing. Shared between a family of four, that is a modest amount per person for a two-hour, door-to-door journey. Booking the return at the same time gives you a discount on the return leg.
Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport
If your airline flies to Gazipaşa, the airport is about 41 km from Alanya, roughly 45 minutes. We also drive from Gazipaşa; journeys from there are priced by distance, and the fixed price is shown in the booking form before you pay. Gazipaşa has a limited schedule, so for most travellers the choice of airport is decided by the flights available.
Meeting your driver
We follow your flight. After baggage reclaim, your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign. Child seats are free on request. On a two-hour drive, a short break on the way is normal – agree it with the driver at the start.
Going back
For an international flight from Antalya, leave Alanya about four hours before departure: two hours on the road plus check-in and security. On summer Saturdays and Sundays, add half an hour.
Booking
Search from “Antalya Airport” to your Alanya hotel or address on the booking form.
How to book, step by step
Villas, apartments and door-to-door pickups
Alanya is not only a resort town. Thousands of people own or rent apartments here, especially in Mahmutlar, Kestel and Oba, and many arrive for long stays rather than a week in a hotel. A door-to-door transfer brings you from the arrivals hall at Antalya Airport to the entrance of your building.
Areas and fare
From Antalya Airport, the fixed fare is €75 per vehicle to:
- Alanya town, including the harbour and Cleopatra Beach area,
- Mahmutlar, east of the centre,
- Konaklı, west of the centre,
- Avsallar, İncekum, Okurcalar and Türkler on the coast towards Side.
The car is a Mercedes Vito for up to 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases.
Apartment complexes
Large residential complexes in Alanya often have several blocks and a security gate. In the booking notes, please give:
- the complex name and block number,
- a contact phone number (yours, the owner’s or the site manager’s),
- gate codes or instructions for late arrivals.
Long stays and lots of luggage
If you are coming for a season, you may travel with more than the usual luggage. The Vito takes 6 large items in total; if you bring more, mention it and we will advise whether a second vehicle is needed.
The journey
Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign and drives about two hours along the coast. At your address the luggage is unloaded at the door. For the return, the pickup is at the same entrance; leave about four hours before an international flight from Antalya.
From Gazipaşa
If you fly into Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport, about 41 km from Alanya, we can drive you door to door from there too. Enter the route on the booking form to see the price.

Planning your arrival and departure
Getting to Alanya takes a little more planning than reaching resorts closer to Antalya Airport. This guide covers the decisions that matter, from choosing an airport to timing your departure.
1. Choose your airport
Antalya Airport (AYT) has the most flights and is about 125 km from Alanya – around two hours by road. Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport (GZP) is about 41 km from Alanya – around 45 minutes – but has fewer flights. Compare total travel time, not just the flight.
2. Book your transfers early
- Book as soon as your flights are confirmed, especially for July and August.
- Choose “Return” on the search form to book both journeys at once; the return leg is discounted.
- Add your flight number so we can follow your arrival.
- Mention children’s ages (child seats are free) and any extra luggage.
3. Arrival day
Your driver waits in the arrivals hall with your name on a sign; the first 60 minutes after landing are free. From Antalya Airport, the fare to Alanya is €75 per vehicle for up to 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases. On the two-hour drive, a short break is normal – agree it with the driver.
4. Days out
- Manavgat waterfall – about 62 km, 1 hour 10 minutes
- Side – about 64 km, 1 hour 5 minutes
- Aspendos – about 95 km, 1 hour 35 minutes
- Belek – about 104 km, 1 hour 45 minutes
- Kaleiçi, Antalya – about 134 km, 2 hours 20 minutes
Closer to home, the Dim river valley and the Dim cave are popular on hot days. See long-distance transfers from Alanya.
5. Departure day
For an international flight from Antalya, leave Alanya about four hours before departure; on busy summer weekends, four and a half. From Gazipaşa, two and a half hours before departure is usually enough. Your driver collects you from your hotel or apartment entrance.
Changes
Send changes at least 48 hours before the pickup. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the pickup; later cancellations are not refundable; see the cancellation policy.
All-inclusive resorts
Many of the big all-inclusive resorts that carry an “Alanya” address are actually spread along the coast west of the town: in Türkler, Okurcalar, Avsallar, İncekum and Konaklı. Knowing where your resort is helps you estimate the drive – the fare from Antalya Airport is the same for all of them.
Resort areas
- Türkler and Okurcalar – the westernmost resorts, closest to Antalya Airport; around an hour and three quarters.
- Avsallar and İncekum – sandy beaches and many large family resorts.
- Konaklı – just west of Alanya town.
- Alanya town and Mahmutlar – city hotels near Cleopatra Beach and the harbour, and resorts to the east.
From Antalya Airport the fixed fare to all of these is €75 per vehicle, for up to 6 passengers and 6 large suitcases.
Arriving at a resort
Resorts usually have a security gate; your driver deals with it and stops at the main reception. Check-in usually involves passports and wristbands. If you arrive before your room is ready, the resort will normally keep your luggage while you use the facilities.
Check-out and departure
Check-out is usually around midday, and many flights leave Antalya in the evening. Ask about late check-out or a day room. From the Alanya resorts, plan to leave about four hours before an international flight from Antalya – a little less from Okurcalar, a little more from Mahmutlar.
Is Gazipaşa an option?
Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport is about 41 km east of Alanya town. For resorts in Mahmutlar and Alanya it is much closer than Antalya; for Okurcalar and Türkler the difference is smaller. If your airline offers a Gazipaşa flight, enter it as pickup on the booking form to see the price.
Out and about
Alanya’s sights are close to the resorts: the castle on the peninsula, the Red Tower and the harbour, Cleopatra Beach and the Damlataş cave. Further afield, the Dim river valley and Side are popular day trips; see long-distance transfers from Alanya.
Airport taxi or pre-booked transfer?
A taxi from the rank
Licensed taxis queue outside the terminals at Antalya Airport and charge by the meter. For a two-hour drive, the fare depends heavily on traffic and is only known at the end. Taxis are usually saloon cars with space for four and limited room for suitcases. Some drivers on the rank prefer not to take long-distance fares at busy times, and the queue can be long on summer evenings.
Comparison
- Price: taxi – metered, known at the end; transfer – €75 per vehicle, known in advance.
- Comfort: taxi – saloon for two hours; transfer – individual seats in a Vito.
- Luggage: taxi – limited; transfer – 6 large suitcases.
- Waiting: taxi – queue on arrival; transfer – driver already in the terminal.
- Children: taxi – rarely child seats; transfer – free on request.
What about Gazipaşa?
If you fly into Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport, the journey is much shorter: about 41 km. Taxis are available there too; a pre-booked transfer from Gazipaşa is priced by distance and shown in the booking form.
Taxis in Alanya
Within Alanya, taxis are useful for short trips – from your hotel to the harbour, Cleopatra Beach or the castle road. A pre-booked car is the better choice for the airport and for longer outings at a known price.
Hotel transfers in Alanya
Compared with other options
- Public transport: a long-distance bus to Alanya’s bus station, then a taxi to the hotel.
- Package coach: stops at many hotels along the coast.
- Hotel-arranged car: compare its price with our fixed fare.
- Private transfer: direct, flight-tracked, 60 minutes free waiting, driver with your name.
Hotels in Alanya town
City hotels near Cleopatra Beach and the harbour are often on busy streets with limited stopping space. Your driver knows the town and will stop as close to your entrance as possible.
Check-in and check-out
Rooms are usually ready in the early afternoon. After a morning arrival, the hotel will normally store your luggage. On departure day, ask about late check-out and book your pickup about four hours before an international flight from Antalya.
A break on the way
Two hours is long enough that a short stop is welcome, especially with children or after an early-morning flight. Tell the driver at the start of the journey if you would like a break for the toilets or a drink; there are good places to stop along the D400 between Manavgat and Okurcalar.
Hotel to hotel
Two-centre holidays are popular: Alanya with Side (about 64 km) or Belek (about 104 km). Enter both hotels on the booking form for a fixed price.
Gazipaşa arrivals
If you land at Gazipaşa–Alanya Airport, about 41 km away, we can take you to your hotel from there too. Enter Gazipaşa as pickup to see the price.
Groups, weddings and events
Start with the arrivals list
Send names, airport, flight number, landing time, number of passengers and hotel for each flight. We assign vehicles per flight:
- up to 6 passengers from Antalya Airport: one Mercedes Vito, €75 to Alanya;
- 7–12 passengers: two Vitos (€150) or a minibus;
- larger groups: minibuses, quoted individually;
- arrivals at Gazipaşa: priced by distance.
Several hotels
Alanya’s hotels are spread over 40 km of coast, from Okurcalar to Mahmutlar. All have the same €75 fare from Antalya Airport. Tell us who stays where, and we will plan the drops so nobody does an unnecessary tour of the coast.
Signs and meeting
Drivers wait in arrivals with the event, club or guest name on the sign. Each flight is tracked, with 60 minutes of free waiting after landing.
Weddings in Alanya
Alanya’s harbour, castle views and beach hotels make it a popular wedding destination for couples from abroad. Wedding programmes usually involve guests arriving over several days, transfers between hotels and the venue, and late-night returns. Send us the programme and we will plan the vehicles, including departures to both airports.
During the event
Group programmes often include an evening at the harbour, a boat trip around the peninsula, or an excursion to the Dim river valley. We can plan vehicles for each part of the programme.
