Luton Airport Pickup Process: From Landing to Your Car
Luton Airport has one terminal, so the pickup is straightforward. Here is what happens from the moment you land to the moment you are on your way.
1. We track your flight
When you book, add your flight number. We follow the flight and adjust the pickup if it lands early or late. You do not need to call us about a delay.
2. Passport control and luggage
The first 60 minutes after landing are free, which usually covers border control and baggage reclaim. At busy times, queues at border control can be long; if you expect to be more than an hour, call the number in your confirmation.
3. Meeting your driver
After customs, you come out into the arrivals area. Your driver is waiting there with a sign showing your name. Stay inside the terminal – the driver will find you.
4. To the car
Airport parking and drop-off charges are included in your price. The driver takes your luggage and walks with you to the car.
5. The journey
Central London is about an hour away in normal traffic; St Albans about 20 minutes; Milton Keynes and Northampton under an hour. The fare was fixed when you booked and does not change.
Departures from Luton
For flights from Luton, the driver collects you from your address at the time you chose and drops you at the terminal. Early-morning security queues can be long, so arrive at least two hours before a European flight.
Children and special needs
Child seats are fitted free on request – add ages in the booking notes. If you have booked airport assistance, the airport team brings you to the arrivals area, where the driver meets you.
